If you think about all the miles in our lives that we have traveled in a good pair of shoes it can be a bit overwhelming.  The other day I was clearing out my closet and found an old pair of shoes with a lot of beautiful memories attached to them.  I found it hard to pitch them in the trash as I could no longer wear them.  

They were very well loved and worn to the tethers.   I guess it was then that the thought to create a necklace that was a tribute to the old pair of shoes and the memories.
